Siena

Siena, located in the heart of Tuscany and surrounded by hills, is one of the most beautiful medieval settlements in Italy.
Centre point of the town is the famous Piazza del Campo, with its peculiar seashell shape, within which the Palio is held, one of the most important rallies for its citizens. Siena’s Palio is a passionate horse race which takes place each year in July and August, with its origins tracing back to the ‘600s.
